BP has been at the forefront of the Digital Transformation and IIoT revolution specifically targeting improvements in reliability and safety of their global oil and gas production assets.
In their journey, they have uncovered the major obstacle of continuously organizing and managing time-series data with operating conditions which can delay their ability to achieve their goals. Like most, BP has been very active in exploring how to accelerate the delivery of significant value opportunities across their organization.
In this session, BP will share specific examples of how they sped up the design and deployment of multiple OSIsoft PI Asset Framework models through software. BP was able to create numerous hierarchies to support the various analytics use cases and applications leveraging PI AF. The resulting hierarchies incorporate instrumentation, maintenance, and other operations critical datasets saving months of manual effort.
